I am using the original version of the IC-756 without any digital filters affecting to the transmitting bandwidth. Only thing I am using is the ACC1 connector to feeding this radio directly to the balanced modulator. And in listening side I have 3,3 kHz wide filter FL-257. The transmitting bandwidth is approximately 80 Hz to 3 kHz. This radio is using the PSN-modulation system and there the low pass filters will reduce dramatically the transmitting bandwidth above 3 kHz.
In audio side I have the B-1 studio microphone, VX-2496 voice processor and the virtualizer pro dsp-2024p. Usually getting rather good audio reports. Of course there is always a lot of to do with the audio to have better and better...
For antennas I have 3-el tribander Create 318jr (quite similar to a4s) and for lowers band I have windom. And for final force I have Heathkit SB-1000 linear amp with one 3-500z on it...maximum power is around 800 w....
